Equipping Purpose-Driven Leaders On September 13th, 2024, Elpis for Africa Mission and Development organized the “Youth Leadership Summit” at the International Evangelical Church (IEC) with the theme “Purpose-Driven Leadership.” The summit aimed to equip youth, teenage, and Sunday school leaders from various local churches with practical knowledge on spiritual leadership, youth mentoring, and peacebuilding.

Over 700 participants engaged in two sessions featuring worship, prayer, and teachings by key preachers. Dr. Jessy delivered a session on “Purpose-Driven Deep Work,” encouraging leaders to refocus on God’s word and live purposefully. Dr. Mati followed with a training on “Leadership Character,” discussing the biblical model of servant leadership. In the afternoon, Mr. Daniel Yelma trained on “Purpose-Driven Youth Ministry,” highlighting strategic leadership focused on youth ministry’s purpose rather than mere programs.
